'old times'

recently got an email from zifeng talking about lots of old time stuffs we use to do, watch and buy... things like transformers, our eraser battling game, snacks..........

so it happened, today we had celebration for cat...we talked about old school times... things like our Alien Workshop jeans, cross-colours...converse and U.S masters...the amazingly small and tight Outdoor bag...

amazing thing was most of us went through those stages....the long comb, the converse slippers, the JNCO jeans and stuff....its fun to know what everyone went through...

how amazing it is....

been a while

been quite some time since the long long ago entry...so here's one...

had dinner with gera recently for dinner at Bakerzin. as usual, we were both late. i was queuing for a table and there was a grp of 3 in front of me waiting as well. so there was a table for 2 available, but the waiter chose to ask if the grp would mind a smaller table, so back to waiting again...

got the table, order dinner...then dessert.

gera went to pick out a strawberry cake and a chocolate mousse cake. but when the strawberry cake came, it was green in colour, kinda like a pandan cake with strawberries. here's the conversation:
gera: what's this green thing?
waiter: its pistachio...
gera(with the blur face): what's that again?
waiter(super stunned face): errr...
me: its a nut la..
waiter:(still stun): err.. ya its a nut.

the look on the waiter's face was kinda priceless..he's either stun because he dunno how to explain a pistachio to gera, or just stun cause she asked a stupid question.

well that was the main joke of the night...
