Rush to wait n wait to rush
Ya, i manage to extract the studs out...n hell it hurts. took me 10 mins to take one out n out in the stick...fortunately reinserting the stick doesnt hurt.
went back to camp today, found out that there's heighten security implemented and even i was not spared. after staying in MAJU for 1 yr, today was the 1st time i had to surrender my camera phone...wth...going to ORD and these kind of treatment?? i was suppose to have my LOA but they had not issued it to me, so i was phoneless for more than half a day...powerless....
i was back for my dental FFI, intructions: book in by 0830, transport leaving at 0900. and so i booked in at 815...but we wait for so long that i fell asleep....till 1030!!!! our dental appointment was suppose to be at 1030...the best part was that when we went down to the vehicle...it was a mini van.. well a mini was okay but the problem was that we had 16 people n the capacity was only 10... what else can go wrong... but we were fortunate that and 5 tonner was willing to drop us off at SAFTI...after all the discussion...we left at 1045...
we went straight to the dental clinic and hey, saw our follow spec from Charlie coy waiting there....n he's been wating for 30 mins.............................n yao saw his friend and he's friend waited for an hour already...so we figure...since they have waited so long...let's go for brunch... we were in a foreign land(SAFT MI) and we didnt know where's the canteen and guess what.. lau asked a CONSTRUCTION WORKER!! and he's not even Singaporean...he's a Blanga...amazingly the worker knew where the canteen was and there we were...OCS canteen...and man were their food expensive...i think to suit their allowance...
i had bee hoon,egg and fish cake and it cost $1.80....think the egg is golden and the fish is salmon......
after makan we headed back only to wait for another 30 mins....by that time, yao's friend have already wait for more than 2 hours....and the appointment last a mere 5 minutes...can u believe this...5 freaking minutes.....they jus wanted to see how many teeth we have fillings in....worse was the admin lady there...telling us to shut our gap cause we were noisy....i mean we would have been quiet if everything was more efficient...
everthing finished and we headed back to camp...since we were there we decided to go for our body check...and we waited again.....for like 1 and 1/2 hours......n the consultation took last than a minute..not that i want to complain that i took last than 1 minute but the fact we had to wait........crap man....
like what shiek said,'it's an icing on the cake....when you ORD,the organisation shows that they are still inefficient'
