fabric and studs
got a sms from don yesterday noon asking me to go out cause he wanted to buy some new fabric, well i was relieved...finally, i going out instead of nua-ing at home for the past few days or even the next few days. so i took my bath and headed out to meet him...took a bus down to sunshine and found out the shop he wanted to go to was closed, think not his day...so we headed down bencoollen area there for him to look for fabric, i didnt even expect the place we went to sell anything cause its like out of nowhere.
we went into the 1st shop we saw and flipped through a 'button album' cause he wanted to buy some buttons and man, did the owner sell lots of buttons. he had almost all sorts of buttons by most brands like Chanel, Guess..... but nothing don wanted. so we browse through some fabric and he ask me to pick one so that he can make me a shirt...COOL!!... next time can save money liao hahaha...ok i didnt choose anything but he said he'll make something for me.....
we went on to other shops to find better fabrics and amazing we went into a shop that sells great fabric..i mean the prints and quality were great for clothes made for young adults like us...best of all...the lady boss provided a few sets of samples for don to take home for reference...man...that's SERVICE i tell you...i've been to many shops and everytime don ask for samples, the owners will show those damn reluctant faces...some dun even want to cut out a small piece for him...there's even one shop that charge him for the small sample....anyway that shops name is 'Seng Heng' and is moving to pearl centre i think...
sebas met up with us at 'seng heng' cause he went to smu in the morning...after that we headed down to bugis st cause dear told me they have lots of nice studs there...so we walk down the busy st...and it was damn crowded...we basically were just weaving through the shops and ppl until the last shop before we left...don ask if i wanna check out the studs...saw 2 pairs i liked and got them...how's that for shopping...5 mins...
next was dinner, and we saw an interesting event. we sat at this table which was fill with plates and whatever and we waited for the cleaner to come but he just didnt...so after like 15 mins the cleaner finally came and after cleaning, he left a few sets of orange plates and bowls on the table without clearing them and went to clear another table...then i realised the cockery belong to the stall just behind our table but the owner was just waiting for the cleaner to clear it for them! when the cleaner left our table, the owner ran after him and told him to clear the table...what logic is that?? would it have kill the owner or his wife to clear the plates themselves?? pls ponder...
after that we went don's place to 'pa' game and that's pretty much the end of an fulfilling day instead of nua-ing...
