somebody come let me in......

so i've been searching for jobs for the past week, and i must say its not exactly easy based on the fact that i'm just a diploma holder with no experience. went for 3 interviews and 2 of them were asking me to become a financial planner/insurance agent. well, the great eastern one was not bad considering they wanted to groom someone to manager level but i still kind of wanted to study and defintely not money or result orientated now. and the odd one out, looks like a sleazy company trying to sell some health products which the interviewer doesnt want to tell me what until the next interview, and the interviewer looks more sloppy than i am(at least my goatee looks better). plus his 'ang mo' is power half past six man.

so the week past with only selling invest/insurance seemingly the only choices i have, but that's not what i want. crap shit man. so i continued searching the web for more jobs, then i figured, maybe i can search the companies i want to work in and check their career option. checked MTV, adidas, nike, espnstar and even mediacorp, and what they have are mostly hands-on stuff, if not they require some degree or exp. MTV had an interesting position: traffic scheduler, maybe will apply but need cover letter. here comes another problem, i cant write a good cover letter, maybe i just dont know how to write a good one cause i have nothing to write. personally not much skills aquired through my 2 yrs in NS except some leadership skills and man-management. its 'lan pa pa lan'

so what i can do now is try to aquire more skills, trying learn adobe photoshop and image ready, plus brush up my Office skills. hopefully attempt to write a better cover letter so i can apply for better jobs, if not i'll wait until sebas finishes his papers(which is also Sat, and we'll be flying off to bangkok). thus wait till next week when everyone is free to help me, maybe by then i'll get a job(not sales related!!).

life of searching for jobs and knowing if you dont get one, you'll definitely be eating air. plus the inconvenient interview calls and appointments makes it difficult to plan for anything. fark
