celebrating xmas?

i was nua-ing and gaming the whole day till don ask to chill out later on xmas eve. since i have no other plans, i thought why not, if he had in mind where to go. but in the end, he wanted sebas to discuss with me where we could chill out.

was going to meet sebas for dinner on saturday when i saw don's parents. we were going to eat at ivin's near my place, so i walked from home when i saw don's parents outside the post office. his mum told me he left them there so they had to walk home, weird since don said he borrowed the car in the afternoon. well, maybe he did drop them off in the noon.

then sebas called me and told me ivin's was closed at 9, damn. so we ate at the 24hr chinese cafe beside the prata store. after dinner we went down to mind's cafe at prinsep street to meet up with don to 'chill out' since he was already there. so when we reached there, oddly not crowded considering is xmas eve, we saw him sitting down with 3 other friends. so after the introduction, bas and i sat down and it was kind of weird, feels like something's going on and we dont know what it was. so one of the friends, jeremiah, said they were having games later or something, and asked if we knew. so bas and i just turned our head to don and asked, 'so what's happening later?'

but we didnt participate in the games anyway, we just played board games by ourselves for like the next 4 hours. we played starwars monopoly, simpsons game of life and this new game rubis. rather intellectual games i must say, got us thinking for very long to outwit each other.

there was a countdown though, but it kind of happen so quickly we didnt react fast enough to it, before we knew it, everyone(except for a few guys) were counting down and shouting and then singing 'we wish you a merry christmas'. quite christmasy, just that we didnt know anyone.
