bum

i've been bumming around since christmas for god's sake. chill at my uncle's place on new year's eve. nuaz at home for the next couple of days, hoping to get some calls for interviews. well, i've already lost hope in searching for jobs of my choice i guess.

then i guess shit always happens. just when i got a call from prudential to ask me to join them for a second interview, then my recruiting agent called me to tell me there's an interview for a marketing asst position on the same day. what are the chances man?? had to tell the prudential guy i was waiting for another position and ask if they could wit for my decision. then i went down to starhub at ayer rajah(which is freaking far deep in) for the interview. most awkward moment for me was when they told me the job scope was 90% admin and very little chance of doing marketing stuff(cause the position was marketing/admin asst) right after i told them my expectation was to learn as much and apply what i've learnt in poly. felt like an anvil just dropped on me although i was warned before hand by my agent about the admin work.

so there were 4 interviewers and they just looked at me, and i told them i didnt mind, i mean since it was starhub. but they stared at me with some disbelief i guess, and just kept asking each other if they had other questions for me. well i called agent and told her what happened and she said its probably to test me. the thing is, the other interviewee before me is someone which admin exp but no marketing background while i'm the opposite, so who would they choose?? if its not obvious enough.

i've been waiting for the reply for 4 days now since the interview, and yet i've not got any answers. my mind is almost set on being an advisor and that starhub position is just dragging it on. well, if they find it really hard to decide who's the one with the ability to kill 2 birds, then i think i'm just not too suitable for the job.
